Senior advocate Prashant Bhushan has filed an RTI application on Tuesday, May 8, with the information officer of the Supreme Court, seeking information about the administrative order “obviously of the CJI" for fixing the 5-judge bench to deal with dismissal of CJI’s impeachment case. Bhushan said the reply to RTI will test Supreme Court’s commitment to transparency and wondered whether it be denied on grounds of national security.
