It seems Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is not very confident of his party's leaders as the party on Thursday launched a mobile number seeking public opinion on its Chief Ministerial candidate.
Accompanied by Bhagwant Singh Maan, convenor of the Punjab unit of AAP and co-convenor Raghav Chadha, Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday released mobile number 7074870748 to seek public feedback on the party's CM face till 5 pm on January17.

Addressing media persons, Kejriwal clarified that he does not want to be the CM face for Punjab. "I was willing to pitch Bhagwant Mann’s name as the chief ministerial candidate in the upcoming assembly elections but Maan disagreed. He suggested seeking public opinion on the CM's name," claimed Kejriwal.
The decision of Kejriwal has raised serious doubts on the competence of AAP leaders in Punjab who, it seems, are unable to handle the state.
Kejriwal on Wednesday had claimed that the CM face for Punjab would be announced next week.
Admitting that the electoral alliance of AAP with Sanyukt Samaj Morcha (SSM) could not be reached due to disagreement on seat-sharing. The prospects of AAP candidates would face harm, with the SSM going alone in the election, he claimed.
“Our alliance with the Morcha could not mature as the farmers' unions wanted 60 seats and by then we had already announced candidates for 90 seats. We offered them 10-15 seats, but they did not agree,” claimed Kejriwal.

On charges leveled by Sanyukat Samaj Morcha (SSM) leader Balbir Singh Rajewal that tickets in the AAP were being sold, Kejriwal had admitted having received an audio clip from him. “Rajewal met me at my residence and gave me a pen drive, having a recording of some conversation. But that is not a substantial proof. I request Rajewal ji that if he has any solid proof, he should take it to the public. If found true, I will hand over the person who accepted money to the police,” he said.
