Amazing pics of Solar Eclipse 2020

A rare celestial event, annular solar eclipse, popularly called as ring of fire eclipse, took place this Sunday, June 21, said the Ministry of Science & Technology.

The first solar eclipse of this year occurred on the summer solstice, which is the longest day in the Northern Hemisphere, said the Ministry of Science & Technology.

Giving an appearance of a "Ring of Fire", the country witnessed the 'deepest' annular solar eclipse in over a century.

The solar eclipse, which began at 8:46 am local time and ended at 3:05 pm in India, was visible from Hyderabad, Chennai, Bhubaneshwar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Delhi, Patna, Shillong and more places.
