The RSS has now taken the responsibility for creating a wave for BJP through religious assemblies and rallies for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. At the Ramlila Maidan on Sunday, they will be demanding to pass law for the construction of Ram temple. The winter session of the Parliament is going to being on Tuesday. In order to create pressure on the government and opposition, this rally is being organised.
As usual, there are loud claims that at least six to eight lakh people will participate in the Dharam Sansad, which is being organised by RSS, at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi from 11 am to 4 pm. Interestingly, the total capacity of Ramlila Maidan is only 80,000.
A senior VHP official claimed that the Dharam Sabha will commence at 1 am. Among the prominent saints who will be joining the RSS’ executive head Bhaiyaji Joshi are International President of VHP retired judge Vishnu Sadashiv Kokje, Mahamandaleshwar Swamy Awadheshnand Giri of Juna Akhara, Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Hansdevacharya Maharaj, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Gyananand Maharaj, Yugpurush Parmanand Maharaj and Sadhvi Ritambhara.
The Sangh had tom-tommed that they would mobilise people in Delhi on December 1, but they could only bring 100 of them and they called this the Sankalp Yatra. After this flop show, the responsibility of mobilising people has been entrusted to local Sangh activists from different regions of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

It is to be noted that on December 1, a truck decorated for the Ram Temple campaign from the Sangh headquarter near Jhandewalan Temple, departed with only a few dozen people seen around it. The Sangh has been worried about the fact that it has become difficult to mobilise people in the name of Ram Mandir. Therefore, BJP workers, leaders and BJP MLAs in and around Delhi have been instructed to mobilise crowds.
Despite this, VHP office bearers have been claiming that lakhs of people from around Delhi-NCR will turn for the rally using public and private transport. Organisers have said that most of the people are being called from within radius of 250 km from Delhi so that they can return to their homes after the Dharam Sansad ends in the evening. However, on Friday many people had turned up at several local BJP offices in Delhi for the rally.
The VHP has said that large LED TVs have been set up for the convenience of those who wont be able to reach the Ramlila Grounds due to the huge crowds.
