In the wake of Pulwama terror attacks and the raging public protests after that, a candle march was held in Basti Hazrat Nizamuddin on Monday to condemn the dastardly Pulwama carnage and express solidarity with the martyred CRPF jawans.
Yasmin Kidwai, a social activist and a documentary filmmaker was the organiser of this march. Speaking to National Herald, Yasmin Kidwai, who is also a member of the Indian National Congress, condemned the attacks on innocent people after the Pulwama attack. She said that the aim of this march was to invoke peace and harmony. “We request the government to not spare the guilty but to protect the innocent Kashmiris who are being targeted.”
