‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ trailer launched, impresses with its funny, wacky one liners

The trailer of the soon-to-be-released ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh was released on Monday. The film is a remake of the1978 hit comedy with the same title starring iconic Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta. And it’s well known to the Hindi filmgoers that the film was based on a love triangle between a married and bored husband, a busy wife and an attractive young woman.

The 1978 film was a wholesome comedy, which did not have as many double meaning dialogues as the latest one seems to have. Nevertheless, the latest version has a modern couple and a ‘modern’ love triangle. The wife played by Bhumi Pednekar doesn’t seem to be submissive, Kartik Aryan as the male protagonist seems to be rather too frustrated and Ananya Pandey as the vivacious ‘other’ woman is rather too sexy.

Then there is this Aparshakti Khurana’s character adding humour to this jumbled relationship. The film is directed by Mudassar Aziz and is scheduled to be released on December 6.
