As per the report, the film will not be a mere remake. Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s sparkling writing included, Lynch will inherit Bond’s codename as he retires from MI6. Bond will still be played by Daniel Craig. “Bond, of course, is sexually attracted to the new female 007 and tries his usual seduction tricks,” a source told the Mail. “But is baffled when they don’t work on a brilliant, young black woman who basically rolls her eyes at him and has no interest in jumping into his bed.”

What’s more, the phrase ‘Bond Girls’ shall no longer be in use whilst referring to the women, and has been changed into ‘Bond Women’. Waller-Bridge, famous for her BBC comedy ‘Fleabag’ and her latest female-led thriller ‘Killing Eve’ was incorporated to make sure the 57-year-old franchise moves with the times.
