Is Fatima Sana Shaikh’s 1st look in Thugs of Hindostan inspired by Hunger Games? 

The producer of the much-awaited film of the year Thugs of Hindostan, YRF has now been releasing the first look of the film through posters on social media and it has immediately caught the fancy of Twitterati. Some are awed by the posters but many have found the first look ‘inspired’ by Hollywood’s films and drama series.

Aamir Khan introduced Fatima Sana Shaikh as Zafira on Twitter saying; “The warrior thug! Iskey nishane se bach ke raho!!!”

Many fans praised Fatima Sana Shaikh’s look as Zafira, saying that she is looking fabulous:

But the similarities with The Hunger Games poster were too obvious:

When Amitabh Bachchan’s first look as Khudabaksh was released on Monday, people immediately could point out the remarkable similarities between Thugs of Hindostan look and Hollywood’s Pirates of the Caribbean:

Nevertheless, the remarkable marketing strategy of the Yash Raj Films is paying off and the motion posters of the film are already creating a buzz. The first look of Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif is eagerly awaited too.
