Entertainment: Yash Raj Films launches Ranbir’s cousin

Ranbir Kapoor’s cousin, Aadar Jain, is all set to make his big Bollywood debut with another debutante, Anya Singh.

At an event on Thursday, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma presented Aadar Jain and Anya Singh to the media. The new actors will be launched by Yashraj films.

“When Aadar called and told me that he bagged the film, I felt a lot of pride and gratitude. But at the same time, I was a little nervous, not knowing how this boy will be accepted. It is a funny industry,” Ranbir said.

The official page of Yash Raj Films also shared a post on Twitter.

Aadar has previously assisted filmmaker Karan Johar in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

European Union Film Festival 2017 in Goa

The 22nd edition of European Union Film Festival 2017 was inaugurated in Goa on 1st of July. Organised by the Delegation of the European Union, Directorate of Film Festivals, and Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting aims to promote cultural ties between India and EU nations through the medium of films.

The fest was inaugurated by Dr Cesare Onestini, Charge d’Affaires, Delegation of European Union to India, ESG Vice Chairman Rajendra Talak, and ESG General Manager Mrunal Niket Walke at Maquinez palace, ESG Complex, in Goa

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Cesare Onestini said, “the relation is becoming stronger between India and the European Union in the field of Arts, Literature and movies too.”

Dr Cesare also shared pictures of the fest on Twitter.

The 22nd edition has featured award-winning European films with themes like the redemption of love, resilience of youth and triumph of the human spirit.

The festival would be an eight-day entertainment bonanza and it will conclude on 8th of July.

Anurag Kashyap comes back with Mukkabaaz

Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is all set to return as director with his film Mukkabaaz. A 21-second-long audio teaser of the film was also released. It stars Vineeth Kumar as the lead and Jimmy Shergill as the antagonist, reported Mumbai Mirror.

Kashyap also shared the teaser on his Twitter handle.

The film is reportedly based on the backdrop of boxing, the plot revolves around sports politics. The film will be co-produced by Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions. Kashyap’s last release was Raman Raghav 2.0.

The film is slated to release on November 10.

Kailash releases video of Bhole Chale

Bollywood Singer Kailash Kher has released a video of his single Bhole Chale on Friday which happens to be his birthday also.

The 43-year-old singer, whose song came out last year as an audio track, has release the video version of the single under the banner Kailasa Records.

“Bhole Chale as a single was released on my birthday last year with our own Kailasa Records label and this time again my team at Kailasa records/entertainment are releasing the video as a birthday gift for me, which I would like to in return share with all those who still believe in simple things of life,” Kher said.

According to Kailash, he always looks up to the Lord Shiva for his encouragement and inspiration. He is the power that moulds and destroys but encourages never to give up and look forward to a new beginning.
