Truly blessed to direct actors like Sanjay Mishra in my first film, says debutant director Raaj Aashoo

Starting his career as a music composer for Ad-films, Raaj Aashoo has now come a long way. Hailing from a small town in Madhya Pradesh, Raaj came to Mumbai and started his journey with ads and then went on to do music for many Bollywood movies such as Tera Intezar, My Friend Ganesha 2, Romeo Akbar Waltar, Lucknowi Ishq and many more. This year he also won the Mirchi Music Award for Best Music Composer Recreation for movie Hume Tumse Pyaar Kitna.

Very few music composers like Kishore Kumar and Vishal Bhardwarj have taken the leap of film direction. Adding his name to this list is composer Raaj Aashoo who is currently shooting the last leg of his upcoming film with noted actors like Sanjay Mishra and Rajesh Sharma. To this Raaj shares that, "I am truly blessed to direct actors like Sanjay Mishra ji, Rajesh Sharma ji and Chandan Roy Sanyal. I was always interested in direction from my early college days. Life has been kind to me and given me the opportunity to be a part of this amazing music industry and now film industry."

When questioned about the film's story line, he says, "My wife Seepi has written the story of the film and most of the film is shot in North India." The film is slated to release this year soon.
