It is learnt that the film Section 375 has been issued a U/A certificate by the CBFC only after a substantial portion of the rape scene picturised on Meera Chopra has been chopped off by the Board.

It may be also noted that the makers of the film also had avoided the rape scene in the trailer to avoid any issue with CBFC.
The film directed by Ajay Bahl is about a costume designer who alleges that a filmmaker has raped her, and the courtroom scenes revolve around Section 375 and its maintainability in the case.
