Ranbir Kapoor and Salman Khan clash on the box office this Christmas has been averted. This happened just a day after Salman Khan announced the release date of his next film Dabangg 3 as December 20th.
Dabangg 3 was to clash with Brahmastra this December but on Saturday afternoon, director Ayan Mukerji announced that the film is being postponed and will now release in the Summer of 2020. Today the young director took to Instagram to announce that his ambitious project Brahmastra will be delayed a few months more and is now pushed to Summer 2020 from December 2019.
According to Ayan, the VFX and the sound team need more time to achieve perfection and the team does not want to compromise on the quality of this massive project. Ayan mentioned all of this in a note. So now that fans will have to wait a bit more.
But in the meanwhile, Karan Johar has announced that Akshay Kumar starrer Good News will be releasing on December 27.
However, one has to wait and watch if Good News indeed will release on the announced date. A source said, “Dabangg 3 is one of most awaited franchisee and if it performs well in the first week of its release, Good News may have to get another date. That only time will tell.”
