How did you get into the music?
Music was my first love and hence it became my passion and I am supported by my other passions in which I trained myself and put in all my efforts that is, choreography/dance.
Are you still passionate about dancing or have you entered into music industry leaving dancing behind?
Dance or singing both are my passion but dance became my profession because of my training and resources available to me in my young age. And singing is a gift of god to me which I cherish and make melodies to entertain people and satisfy myself need. I can never leave any one of the two, till I leave the universe.
What transpired ‘Dream’ ?
Aman Original’s the music director of this song made me hear just the hook of this song and I fell in love with the melody. Hence we organised a sitting with the lyricist Zair who is from Chandigarh and we completed the song in two sittings. Also my favourite “Katrina Kaif” inspired me to make this song for her. My admiration for her made this song even sweeter as I could imagine. All credits to her.
Was it difficult to write the lyrics of your new song?
Well, all the credit goes to Zair who has written the lyrics because I am a very choosy person and he had that patience of rewriting things again and again and then we all used to play the music on loop and groove together and found the best of all of us as DREAM that you can listen to now.
Where do you want to see yourself in coming years?
Definitely, as an artist I want my art to be out there and reach the maximum number of people who give me their honest reviews, likes, dislikes and inspire me to make more and more music. Of course I would like to be famous but only on the basis of my work nothing else just like Aamir Khan. He disappears from the scene and works internally for his next big move, creates history and disappears again for the next one.
