Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone has been nominated for a Teen Choice Award in Choice Movie Actress category. She has been nominated for her breakthrough role in xXx: Return of Xander Cage, she will compete with Gal Gadot for the trophy.

She essayed the role of xXx agent Serena Unger, who helps Xander Cage in saving the world. Her co-stars Nina Dobrev and Ruby Rose, who had key roles in the movie, are also nominated. Vin Diesel has also been nominated for Choice Action Movie Actor.

World Music Festival 2017 to come alive

Musicians Rabbi Shergill and Raghu Dixit in collaboration with band Euphoria, are all set to perform at the three-day long World Music Festival 2017. The event has been organised by Artist Aloud, a platform launched by Hungama Digital Media, for talent and independent content across the globe.

An excited Shergill, speaking about the event said, “Independent music has come a long way since I debuted in the industry. Unique music festivals, such as this, serve as an excellent platform to create visibility for artists and reach out to a larger audience base.”

Raghu Dixit also praised the music festival for creating a platform for various artists. He said, “The opportunities and exposure that artists have received via platforms like Artist Aloud with the advent of social media, has played a tremendous role in promoting several indie artists on global level.”

The Fest starting from June 29, will be held across 6 cities at seven venues, providing a stage for live music artists of various genres to perform.

Artists like Kabir Café, DJ Teri Miko, DJ Paroma and Best Kept Secret will also perform in the Fest. It will be held in collaboration with Hard Rock Café in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi and Gurugram.
