Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar’s next directorial venture October featuring Varun Dhawan in the lead role will hit the theatres on June 1, next year. A Rising Sun Films production, the film will go on floors this September. It will be shot in Delhi.

“It is a genre that I have always wanted to delve in. While love and romance have been entwined with Indian cinema, there is abundance in that emotion that everyone can have their own interpretations of.
