Composer Vishal Dadlani has always maintained that both Shekhar and he are very proud of all 3 stars who were launched with the original Student Of The Year, one of whom is Alia Bhatt, now among the most celebrated B-Town stars. She met the composers when she had visited their studio with Karan Johar, before she made her Bollywood debut in 2012 with their film Student Of The Year.
Due to this relationship, Vishal managed to turn an Indian Idol contestant, Rishabh Chaturvedi’s dream into reality.

Rishabh, who has become quite popular, thanks to his versatile performances and innocent demeanour, recently spoke about his fondness for Alia Bhatt on the set of Indian Idol Season 11. In fact, he performed a song that he has specially written and composed for the actress. Titled "Tu Ban Meri Alia", the foot-tapping track was loved by the judges, and the always-encouraging Vishal not only praised Rishabh’s effort, but also assured him that he would share the track with Alia herself.
As soon as the composer shared it with Alia, she recorded a video message, thanking Rishabh for the warm gesture. She said, “After listening to your song, I had such big smile on my face and even now I can’t stop smiling. It was one of the most beautiful moments of my life. I’ve had so many songs in films, but this is the first time that a song has been written and composed solely for me. I am so thankful to Vishal sir that he sent me the song. It was a really touching moment for me. You have made my year, Rishabh. This is one of the top moments of my life till date. The song is very catchy. I couldn’t stop listening to it. I made my friends and family listen to it. I have already told Vishal sir to help me get the song.”

When the composer played the video clip on the show, Rishabh couldn’t believe that Vishal invested so much effort just for him. He was moved to tears by the caring gesture. Of course, Vishal himself humbly credited the singers own talent and Alia's humility for the incredible moment.
