High on power and its ego, current Bihar govt has deviated from its path, says Sonia Gandhi

High on power & its ego, current Bihar govt has deviated from its path. Neither their saying nor doing is good. Labourers are helpless, farmers are anxious & youth are disappointed. Public is with Congress Mahagatbandhan & it is the call of Bihar: Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi said- My dear brothers and sisters of Bihar, I salute the sacred and historical land of Bihar ...

“Today, the government in Bihar, steeped in power and arrogance, has gone out of its way. Neither they do well, nor do they speak. The workers are frustrated. The farmer is upset today. The youth is disappointed today. The fragile state of the economy is overshadowing the lives of the people. There is a serious crisis on the sons of the soil today. Dalits and Mahadalits have been left on the verge of misery. Backward sections of society are also victims of this plight.”

“The voice of the people of Bihar is with the Congress Grand Alliance. This is the call of Bihar today.”

“Governments of Delhi and Bihar are 'lockdown governments' - demonetisation, trade lockdown, economic shutdown, farms captive of new laws, employment and earning shutdown. Therefore, against the government shutting down everything- the people of Bihar are ready to create a new Bihar for the next generation and the next crop. Now an aura of change is in the air. Because change is passion, energy, new thinking and power. Now the time has come to write a new script of change.”

“Bihar has qualities in its hands, skill, strength, power to construct, but unemployment, migration, inflation, starvation have given them tears and blisters in their feet. Words that cannot be said have to be said with tears. Policy and governments cannot be founded and run on the basis of fear, suppression and crime.”

“Bihar is a mirror of India- a hope. Bihar is India's belief, passion. Bihar is the pride of India. Farmers, youth, laborers, brothers and sisters of Bihar are not only in Bihar but all over India and all over the world. Today, the same Bihar is ready for the new changes in its villages, towns, cities, farms and barns for its glory and future. That is why I said that the wind of change is all over.”

“The inked finger of the vote now there with a question. The question is unemployment. The question is to save farming. The question is about earning and employment. The question is about education and health. The question is about industry. The question is to stop the unbridled crime. The question is on dictatorial governance.”

“That is why today is the time to move from darkness to light, from lies to truth, from present to future.”

“My appeal to the people of Bihar which is called the land of knowledge, is to vote for the candidates of the grand alliance and build a new Bihar.”

Thank you.

Jai Hind !
