Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited some of those injured in the violence over the amended citizenship law in northeast Delhi at the GTB Hospital on Tuesday and appealed to people to "stop this madness".
He was accompanied by his deputy Manish Sisodia and Health Minister Satyendar Jain.
Speaking to reporters after his visit to the hospital, Kejriwal said his biggest concern was to stop the violence.
"I have met the people who were injured, also met some people who sustained bullet injuries. Facilities and doctors are apt here. The biggest concern is to stop the violence. I appeal to everyone to stop the violence. This madness has to stop," he said.
Ten people have been killed and scores of others injured in the violence between pro and anti CAA groups in the area since Monday.

Over 15 people sustain bullet injuries during anti-CAA violence in Delhi
Casualties are piling up at Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital amid violent clashes between pro- and anti-CAA protesters in northeast Delhi.
One of the doctors at the hospital who treated the injured told IANS that more than 15 people have sustained bullet injuries.
GTB Hospital has confirmed five deaths till Tuesday. Speaking with IANS, Dr Rajesh Kalra, Additional Medical Superintendent of the hospital said "we have received a total of 93 injured persons and there are five deaths as of now. Fresh data will be released by tonight."
Dr Kalra also said "mostly they are blunt trauma injuries and firearm injuries. One is a petrol victim also. Most minor injuries but 2 to 3 persons were operated on Monday and few more to be operated today."

Violence continues unabated in northeast Delhi's Maujpur area
Violence continued unabated in Maujpur area of northeast Delhi on Tuesday, with two groups of people out on the road armed with rods and sticks.
An angry mob raising incendiary slogans set ablaze a motorcycle in Maujpur, a PTI reporter witnessed. A fire brigade was also seen rushing to the spot.
Security personnel tried to disperse the people from both sides who were armed with rods and sticks. They also resorted to stone-pelting.
However, the crowd was more than the security personnel deployed in the area.
Media personnel were also heckled and driven away from the spot.
Seven people, including a police head constable, were killed as violence spiralled over the amended citizenship law on Monday.
According to police sources, 48 police personnel and 98 civilians were injured in the communal clashes at Jaffrabad, Maujpur, Chandbagh, Khureji Khas and Bhajanpura. Three firemen also received injuries while dousing flames in the area.

Out of the 54 persons who were injured in the Jaffrabad violence, which erupted after pro and anti-CAA groups clashed on Sunday, five persons, including a Delhi Police head constable, succumbed to their injuries on Monday, reported news agency ANI
Ten policemen, including DCP Shahdara, were injured while one head constable, Ratan Lal, lost his life in the violence. The injured have been admitted to the Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital in Dilshad Garden and Max Hospital in Patparganj.
Rajesh Kalra, Additional Medical Superintendent at GTB hospital, told IANS: "Till now 54 persons have been brought to the hospital. Four people, including one head constable, have lost their lives, while the condition of a few others is serious. We are still receiving patients."
The condition of three policemen admitted to the Max Hospital is stated to be critical.
